Job summary

A healthcare administration team in Cardiff is looking for a Temporary Administration Support to provide accurate and confidential assistance for a short-term project until March 2026. This fully on-site role requires strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and experience working with patient records systems. Candidates should possess excellent communication abilities and proficiency in MS Office applications. An Enhanced DBS certificate is required or willingness to undergo a check prior to start.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with PARIS and/or Pancrean preferred.
  • Confident user of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills, accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work on site for the duration of the assignment.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate required (or willingness to undergo DBS check prior to start).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update patient and service records using PARIS and Pancrean systems.
  • Perform general administration duties including data entry, filing, scanning and photocopying.
  • Produce and format documents, spreadsheets and correspondence using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Liaise professionally with clinical teams, staff and external stakeholders.
  • Manage incoming mail, emails and telephone enquiries, prioritising tasks effectively.
  • Ensure strict confidentiality and compliance with information governance policies.
  • Support ad-hoc project tasks and process improvements as required.
