We have a great opportunity available to join Novus Gower, our prison education provider at HMP Parc, working as an Administrator. This role is offered on a permanent, full-time basis, working 40 hours per week.

Site Information

HMP Parc Prison is a Category B men's prison located in Bridgend, Wales. The prison accommodates individuals who have been convicted of various offences requiring secure custody and rehabilitation. The prisons aim is to create an environment in which staff and prisoners feel safe at all times. The prison’s mission is to provide a secure, safe, and rehabilitative environment that encourages positive change and prepares inmates for a successful reintegration into society.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

  • Hold or be willing to gain qualifications at Level 2 in literacy, numeracy and ICT within agreed timescales
  • Have experience of efficient administration within a busy office environment
  • Have experience of maintaining accurate electronic and paper-based data recording systems
  • Ensure data and reports are accurate and produced in line with deadlines
  • Ensure documents are accurate and formatted as required
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders
