A leading housing and support organization in Liverpool is seeking an Accounts Payable professional to provide financial and administrative services. This role involves processing invoices, ensuring compliance with financial policies, and assisting internal stakeholders. Candidates should have experience in a high-volume Accounts Payable role, good communication skills, and ideally be AAT qualified. The position offers a salary of £26,364 and a hybrid working model. The purpose of this role is to work as part of a team to maintain an efficient Accounts payable service and assist in the sales receivable ledger service. You will be required to provide financial and administrative services to ensure the efficient, timely and accurate provision of Transactional Services to the group.
You will be responsible for the processing of invoices following a No-PO-No-Pay policy, ensuring CIS invoices are dealt with in the correct manor, raising payment runs through to media stage and any sundry payments that are requested within a timely manner, meeting deadlines.
You will also be the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders for any assistance they may require or any queries they may have with processes or payments. You will review and authorise new supplier requests ensuring relevant checks are taken place.
The role will also include assisting the Transactional Services Manager to ensure any new processes and procedures are adhered, and provide high level support to other managers, budget holders and contract managers.
