We’re looking for a dynamic Social Media & Content Manager to lead and manage social media activity across a portfolio of our brilliant clients. You’ll be responsible for developing strategic, insight-led social plans, managing day-to-day social activity, overseeing content production, and facilitating on-brand content shoots that bring client stories to life.
This is a fast-paced, client-facing role that would suit someone with agency experience, a passion for storytelling, and love of the hospitality and experience-led space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute multi-platform social media strategies for a range of clients in hospitality, travel, and experience-led sectors
- Manage daily social activity across channels including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn
- Oversee content calendars, ensuring content is timely, on-brand, and aligned with wider PR and marketing goals
- Plan and facilitate content shoots, working with creatives, venues, and clients to ensure high-quality production
- Manage budgets related to social media and content production, ensuring cost-effective and impactful output
- Work with clients and internal teams to brief, plan, and produce content (including copywriting, UGC, video, and visual assets)
- Spot trends and insights, turning them into creative opportunities for clients
- Monitor and report on performance metrics, adapting strategies to optimise impact
- Be a creative lead on UGC (user-generated content), with the ability to plan, direct, and sometimes create short-form content yourself
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, becoming a trusted advisor on all things social
- Stay ahead of emerging platforms, tools, and trends relevant to our sector
About you:
- 2+ years experience in a social media role, ideally within a fast-paced agency environment
- Strong understanding of the hospitality, F&B, and experience-led spaces; you know what great looks like and how to make it happen
- Proven track record of creating and executing engaging, high-performing content strategies
- Confident managing multiple accounts and projects simultaneously
- Experience with UGC campaigns, short-form video, and platform-specific trends (especially TikTok and Instagram Reels)
- Comfortable managing budgets and making strategic decisions about content spend
- Experience planning and coordinating content shoots (including pre-production, on-the-day direction, and post-production)
- Great communicator, both internally and with clients
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organisational skills
- Comfortable using scheduling, analytics, and content tools (e.g. Later, Meta Suite, Canva, CapCut, etc.)

- This role is hybrid; 3 days in our Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham, office and 2 days WFH per week

Account Executive / Senior Account Executive
£25–£29k (dependent on experience)
We’re looking for an ambitious and energetic Account Executive / Senior Account Executive to join our team and get stuck into our awesome portfolio of clients.
Day-to-day responsibilities of the successful candidate:
- Supporting the team and working across an awesome portfolio of accounts in the hospitality, travel, and experience-led sectors
- Building, updating, and managing media and social influencer databases
- Media outreach and selling in stories to regional and national journalists, adapting content to suit a variety of mediums including broadcast interviews and long-form features
- Pitching content ideas and experiences to social media influencers, providing briefs, and organising and managing influencer visits
- Writing for a variety of platforms and environments
- Supporting with event management, and building and managing guestlists
- Creative idea and concept generation for stunts, activations and events
- Keeping up to date with the news agenda, particularly across our clients’ sectors
- Keeping abreast of social media trends, emerging social platforms and media titles including print, online and broadcast
- Compiling press drop lists, sourcing and packaging gifts
- Client management: attending meetings, compilation of minutes, delivery of reports
- Media monitoring, measuring success of campaigns and reporting
The successful candidate will have:
- A genuine interest and passion for the hospitality sector
- An excellent grasp of the media landscape and understanding of social media platforms; TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn etc.
- Amazing people skills, a positive and proactive mindset and a ‘can-do’ attitude
- Two or more years of experience working in a busy agency environment and on clients from relevant sectors
- High levels of communication – presentation, verbal and written skills and a flair for creativity

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Account Manager / Senior Account Manager to join our team to work on some exciting new client wins.
As an Account Manager at The Relationship you will:
- Have approx 3 years’ experience working in a fast paced agency environment. Please note, agency experience is essential for this role.
- Understand the hospitality, travel and experience sectors, its consumers and how to influence them on and offline
- Be a strong writer able to draft and edit compelling press releases, media pitches and blogs.
- Have an excellent understanding of how the media works and how to pitch effectively, and a strong network of journalists, bloggers and digital influencers to activate
- Have strong client management skills and feel confident managing up to directors, while managing and training up junior members of the team.
- Be a creative thinker able to develop unique ideas, story angles, events and partnership opportunities
- Have a love for pitching stories and finding unique angles for feature and influencer placements
- Be an agile multi-tasker able to work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple projects
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Day-to-day client management and campaign execution
- Managing and developing junior members of the team
- Nurturing and expanding relationships with journalists and influencers across multiple sectors on a daily basis via email, phone and face to face pitches
- Proactive, creative media outreach, pitching and story placement
- Development of PR plans, contributing to strategy and creative direction
- Managing client meetings and conference calls and acting as the main contact for day-to-day queries on the account
- Drafting and editing compelling press releases, pitches, editorial and blog content
