Join our Careermakers and become part of our dynamic team, providing essential transportation services without the need for a long-term commitment. We are currently seeking reliable drivers to support our operations in and around Preston, offering competitive pay rates and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Operate a 7.5-ton vehicle safely and efficiently to transport goods and packages to various locations within Preston and the surrounding areas.
• Follow designated routes and adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations.
• Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of goods while providing exceptional customer service.
• Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition and report any issues promptly.
• Handle packages with care, ensuring they are loaded and unloaded securely to prevent damage.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any deviations from the planned route or schedule.
• Up to 20 stops.
• Monday – Friday, 9am start.

Requirements

• Valid UK driving licence with category C1 entitlement for 7.5‑ton vehicles.
• Proven experience as a 7.5‑ton driver, preferably in a delivery or logistics environment.
• Excellent driving skills with a strong focus on safety and adherence to regulations.
• Good communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
• CPC and Tacho.

We offer competitive pay at a rate of £15.07 per hour + 28 days of paid holiday per year.
