Job description
Car Delivery Driver (7.5 Tonne Car Transporter)

Location: Bristol BS13

Reports to: Depot Duty Manager

Company/Team: Kindertons Accident Management (KAM – Transport)

Hours: Monday - Friday 0800 - 1700 (8.25hrs), 45mins break. Overtime regular, expected and payable at x1.5. 1x Saturday every four weeks (as per duty rota), payable at x1.5

Salary: £30,613.00 + OT for Saturdays

Role Purpose

We are seeking a Level 3 Driver to join our Transport team. The role involves completing deliveries, collections, and vehicle swaps using a 7.5 tonne car transporter. You will prepare and secure hire vehicles, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of Kindertons’ fleet to customers. This position requires excellent customer service skills, supporting clients in relation to their road traffic accident claims.

Main Responsibilities
  • Prepare hire fleet vehicles to a high standard for delivery, completing all required documentation.
  • Drive a 7.5 tonne car transporter to and from various locations set time frames.
  • Demonstrate vehicle controls to customers while stationary.
  • Ensure vehicles for the following day’s are accounted for and prepared.
  • Keep the depot parking area organised, following depot management instructions.
  • Prepare the yard for easy access by salvage agents or other employees.
  • Assist depot administrators with damaged fleet vehicles (photography, estimates, repair coordination).
  • Support deliveries, collections, and vehicle swaps as required.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team, attending meetings and contributing ideas.
  • Carry out any other duties reasonably requested by your line manager.
Role Specification
Knowledge & Experience
  • Strong understanding of the Highway Code.
  • CPC license (or equivalent) to drive vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes.
  • Full driving license held for at least 2 years.
  • Willingness to declare any license points (3 or more) at interview stage.
