Marketing Executive (12-Month FTC)

MCS Group is delighted to partner with an award-winning organisation to recruit a Marketing Executive for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role will drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement through creative, multi-channel campaigns within the eLearning sector.
You’ll take ownership of lead generation, working closely with the sales team to align marketing and outreach strategies that convert high-quality leads into sales. This is a proactive and collaborative role where your creativity and data-driven mindset will directly contribute to business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Management: Plan and deliver digital marketing campaigns across NI and ROI, focusing on B2B lead generation while bringing creative B2C ideas to the table.
- Email Marketing: Execute weekly email campaigns via HubSpot using segmentation, automation, and performance tracking to maximise engagement and leads.
- Content Creation: Produce engaging written and visual content - from social posts and emails to web copy and sales collateral.
- Social Media: Develop and schedule weekly posts across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter, aligning social strategy with wider campaign goals.
- Collaboration: Partner with the sales team to generate, qualify, and convert leads, ensuring smooth handover and shared insights.
- SEO & Ads: Support and manage Google Ads campaigns with external agencies and apply SEO best practices to improve organic visibility.
- Success Stories: Gather testimonials and create case studies to showcase client results and drive credibility.
- Cross-Promotion: Collaborate with Knowledge and Events teams to promote content across the Hub platform and at events.
- Reporting: Use HubSpot and Google Analytics to measure campaign success, report monthly, and refine marketing strategies based on insights.
- Design & Print: Coordinate production of digital and print materials, ensuring brand consistency.
- Events: Represent the company at occasional conferences to promote solutions.
Essential Criteria
- Degree in Marketing or related field, or CIM qualification.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot), email marketing tools, and CMS platforms (e.g. Craft or WordPress).
- Solid understanding of digital marketing principles and social media platforms (especially LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram).
- 3+ years in a B2C marketing role or 2+ years in B2B marketing within a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience planning and executing digital marketing campaigns across email, social and paid channels.
- Experience maintaining websites via CMS, ensuring brand and tone consistency.
- Confident in marketing analytics and reporting.
