About the job:

We are looking for a data-driven Global Hotel Chain Specialist to manage the dynamic hotel chain and connectivity portfolio. The role focuses on managing day-to-day commercial tasks as well as developing partnerships with hotel chains.

Responsibilities:

1. Maintaining current relationships and securing partnerships with Global Hotel Chains
2. Plan, execute & prioritize mapping for supplier activation
3. Conduct price and availability analysis and act on findings both internally and externally
4. Coordinate onboarding of suppliers in line with company priorities
5. Responding to Client partner inquiries
6. Work closely with other departments where additional input is needed to complete internal projects/support suppliers’ requirements
7. Evaluate data sheets, performance reports and suppliers meeting data requirements in order to make commercial decisions
8. Conduct market analysis to explore supplier opportunities and identify, vet, and approve additional suppliers to minimize operational risk for the company
9. Research and provide information on accommodation industry procurement trends and best practices
10. Support the management in executing the sourcing plan

Profile requirements:

1. A minimum of 5 - 8 years in the field of hotel industry contracting
2. Prior experience in managing Accommodation/Hotel Chains operations is essential, especially in a travel services environment in a similar sized organization
3. Experience working directly with high-level hotel chain partners
4. Must have an in-depth understanding of the tourism/hospitality landscape in the region
5. Senior relationship management skills
6. Time efficient and strong analytical skills
7. Fluent written and spoken English essential
