Bancroft’s, one of the country’s leading co-educational day schools, are looking for an enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join their Catering Department on a casual contract. The role of Kitchen Porter is an essential link in ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen operation. The successful candidate will work to tight timescales, be flexible with school activities, and contribute as a team player who can collaborate with all catering team members to maintain a professional atmosphere.

The post is on a casual basis and reports to the Sous-Chefs / Head Chef.

• Assist in the kitchen with deliveries, washing up and general cleanliness.
• Carry out all work in an industrious manner so that tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• Ensure duties are carried out in line with Bancroft’s standards.
• Collaborate with the catering team to maintain a harmonious and cooperative working environment.

• Shift rota: 07:00 - 15:30, 08:00 - 16:30, and 09:00 - 17:30 with half an hour unpaid lunch.
