A healthcare provider organization in Cambridge is looking for a Patient Access Representative II to manage clinical and administrative functions. The role involves supporting patient flow and collaborating with team members in a medical-surgical unit. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, along with the AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification. Experience as a nursing assistant or being currently enrolled in a nursing program is preferred. This part-time role offers 8 hours per week commitment, primarily during the evening shift.

Med/Surg 4 is a 32 Bed adult medical surgical telemetry unit. Our goal is to promote and restore patients\' health by collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members. We provide care for a diverse patient population including GI, cardiovascular, and respiratory illnesses. We deliver care with an emphasis on assessment, education, prevention, maintenance, and restoration of health in a supportive and culturally sensitive manner.
The Patient Access Representative II (PAR II) position consists of both administrative/clerical functions in addition to the clinical responsibilities of the medical assistant. PAR IIs are essential members of the team. They provide the department the flexibility of meeting both clinical and administrative needs, while contributing to the smooth operation by facilitating patient flow.
