About the role: The Technical Innovation and Development Division focuses on software development, automation, and research to support the wider company in improving client project delivery and increasing internal process efficiency. This cross‑functional role supports the software development team with bug testing and guidance document development while assisting the wider company in identifying and developing technical solutions to challenges for both the company and its clients.

We are a driven and ambitious cross‑divisional team growing rapidly and looking for someone who can thrive in a fast‑paced environment and help develop the role as the team and company expand. Opportunities for progression include project coordination responsibilities, eventual management roles, or specialising in a particular technical area.

• Proactively propose ways to streamline processes and implement them.
• Advise colleagues on best practices and efficient use of third‑party software and internally developed applications.
• Research and support trials of new software and tools.
• Assist in developing reports and dashboards using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other data sources.
• Develop basic automation scripts such as Visual Basic macros and Python scripts.
• Complete support tasks for software development projects, including competitor research.
• Conduct end‑to‑end testing of internally developed applications and tools.
• Draft presentations and other documents, including user guides and training materials.

Our process includes a telephone interview with the Talent Acquisition team, followed by a technical assessment. Successful candidates are invited to a team interview and a competency‑based interview. Typical duration is around one month.

We are recruiting for start dates throughout 2022, including July and September. Other start dates may be available; please state your availability on the application form.
