Job summary
A leading biopharmaceutical company is seeking a BD & Licensing Director for the U.S. market. The role involves leading business development and licensing activities, developing strategies to grow revenue, and managing the full business process from lead generation to project handover. The ideal candidate will have a Master’s degree or above in biopharma or a related field, with over 5 years of relevant experience. A strong understanding of the antibody drug development process is essential for success. Flexible remote working is available.
Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in business development or licensing.
- Strong understanding of antibody drug development and CRO service models.

- Manage the business process from lead generation to project handover.

- Lead business development and licensing activities in the U.S. market, focusing on antibody discovery, engineering, and related CRO services.
- Develop and execute U.S. market strategies to drive revenue growth through service contracts, strategic collaborations, and licensing opportunities.
- Manage the full business process from lead generation, technical discussion, proposal development, contract execution to project handover.
- Coordinate closely with internal R&D, project management, legal, and executive teams to ensure alignment and successful deal execution.
- Represent the company at major industry conferences, partnering events, and roadshows to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
- Master’s degree or above in biopharma, immunology, antibody engineering, life sciences, or a related field; PhD preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in business development, licensing, or strategic partnerships within biotech, pharma, or antibody-focused CROs.
- Strong understanding of antibody drug development and CRO service models; experience with licensing or strategic alliance deals preferred.
- Proven ability to independently drive deals from opportunity identification to contract closure.
- Established network within the U.S. biopharma industry is highly desirable.
