Job summary
A well-known optical retailer in Harpenden is seeking an Optical Assistant to deliver exceptional customer service and work within a dedicated team. The ideal candidate should have prior optical experience, a passion for customer service, and effective teamwork and communication skills. This position offers a full-time role with a salary of up to £27,000 per annum, plus a range of benefits including discounted eyecare and enhanced sick pay.

As an Optical Assistant at Specsavers, you’ll be the friendly face at the heart of our stores working among a team of experienced professionals, delivering unmatched customer service every single day.
Based in a small market town, we have a wonderful team of 10 dedicated people in our store ready and waiting for you to meet.

Some of the skills we’re looking for include:
- Previous optical experience as an Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant
- Passion for providing excellent customer service
- Teamworking
- IT confident
- Excellent communication and listening
- Ability to adapt and develop
