Bloomberg News is seeking an expert and versatile editor in London to help shape our most ambitious work across credit and finance, two coverage areas that are key to our mission of chronicling capitalism. You'll work across teams in multiple time zones, bringing compelling stories to life for a global audience. You'll help our journalists reveal who's winning and who's losing amid the boom in private markets. And you will help us explain where the risks are emerging in finance's shifting landscape.

Flexibility is key: Ideally, you're as comfortable working with fast turnarounds as with complicated and lengthy projects. You're also comfortable unpacking and distilling complex ideas, with a sophisticated grasp of what our readers want. You're a clear communicator, with an interest in cultivating and fostering collaboration across teams that span numerous locations.

• Outstanding news judgement
• A record of mentoring and working with reporters to create deeply reported narratives
• The ability to prioritize and pivot based on what's happening in the news cycle
• A demonstrated ability to break down silos and communicate across teams, groups, platforms and regions

• A minimum of 5 years of editing experience
• A passion for news
• A proven track record of conceiving and producing long-form features
• A collaborative spirit and a commitment to innovate and experiment
