Main duties of the job

The post holder will manage and deliver high-quality, patient-focused clinical research across a portfolio of studies within TBI-REPORTER Project, including the 3P Study. They will identify and recruit eligible participants across critical care, emergency, ward and outpatient settings, ensuring studies are conducted in line with study protocols, ICH-GCP and departmental policies to protect participant well-being.

They will provide specialist advice, education, and support to clinical and research staff, promoting best practice and integrating research into clinical care. Working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, the post holder will lead and develop the research nursing team, maintaining high standards of research delivery and patient care.

Qualifications
  • Registered Nurse educated to Degree level or willingness to undertake
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Teaching qualification.

Experience
  • Significant post registration experience working in the complex health care setting and ability to demonstrate expert nursing skills.
