Job summary
A leading Financial Services Consultancy in Belfast is seeking a Compliance Associate to deliver audit and assurance support to global clients. This full-time permanent role requires candidates with an audit background in Financial Services or Banking, alongside strong regulatory knowledge. Responsibilities include providing quality compliance outputs, managing multiple projects, and working closely with clients. Ideal candidates will have client-facing experience and excellent communication skills, with ISO 27001 knowledge being a plus.
Qualifications
- Junior to Mid-level professionals within assurance, audit or compliance testing in financial services.
- Demonstrable audit experience in any relevant field.
- Payments or Asset Management industry knowledge is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality compliance work products to clients.
- Deliver on multiple projects including compliance audits.
- Work closely with clients to design regulatory strategies.

This new, full-time permanent job opportunity will see the successful individual play a key role in delivering audit and assurance support to the firm's global clients.
This new role would suit those with an audit background in Financial Services or Banking, lots of regulatory knowledge and ideally some good client exposure gained from their experience to-date.
- Providing highest quality compliance work products to clients
- Playing a key role in delivering on multiple projects - including but not limited to Information Security, Consumer Duty, Financial Crime, Safeguarding & more
- Carrying out compliance audits for clients - advising of relevant recommendations to achieve regulatory compliance
- Working closely with existing clients to help learn their business and design supporting regulatory strategy accordingly
- Junior to Mid-level professionals within assurance, audit or compliance testing - within financial services, banking or fintech
- Payments or Asset Management industry knowledge is desirable, but not essential
- Demonstrable audit experience - any relevant kind of audit
- ISO 27001 experience is desirable
- Client-facing experience or exposure is desirable
- Excellent communication skills
