Registered Veterinary Nurse page is loaded## Registered Veterinary Nurselocations: Exeter, Devontime type: Part timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: JR002495We have a fantastic opportunity for a Part Time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly and well-established team at Medivet Exeter Cranbrook.Our family-run practice has a great atmosphere and is well-equipped with everything needed to deliver excellent patient care, including cardiac ultrasound, dental x-rays, a K-laser, aseptic theatre and prep room, endoscopes, and a full in-house lab for blood, biochemistry, and urine testing. The practice also features spacious waiting and consulting rooms, separate dog kennels, a cattery, and an exotics ward. You’ll see a truly varied caseload, including birds, primates, reptiles, and snakes.We’re looking for an enthusiastic nurse with a passion for learning and the drive to develop their clinical skills while working on a wide range of cases. You’ll be joining a supportive team of vets, RVNs, SVNs, and Veterinary Care Assistants who all share a commitment to providing the best care possible for patients and clients alike.Located just five minutes from the M5 and A30, our Exeter Cranbrook practice offers easy access to everything Devon and Cornwall have to offer — from beautiful beaches and moors to nearby Bristol and vibrant local towns — making it a fantastic place to live and work.This is a part-time role, working 15 hours per week with 1 in 4 full weekends. In this role you will:* Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients.* Support with surgeries and procedures, completing all pre and post procedure activity.* Carry out nurse led appointments and schedule 3 activities.* Deliver patient monitoring and care.* Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.* Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care.* Dispense and check medication.* Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards.* Hold briefings to engage and co-ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice.### **Your Skills and Experience*** RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.* Experience of delivering exceptional patient and client care.* Experienced in working effectively as part of a team.* Experience of supporting Nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency.* Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.Medivet is a leading veterinary care provider, with practices across the UK including a number of 24-hour veterinary centres and referral centres.
