A leading British lifestyle brand in Bridgwater seeks apprentices for leather production training. The successful candidates will learn end-to-end leather production processes while gaining practical skills in stitching and cutting. This role offers an inclusive culture with commitments to sustainability and craftsmanship. Opportunities for training and a Level 2 Apprenticeship qualification are included, as well as perks like a four-day working week and competitive salary.
Born in 1971, the roots of Mulberry are in Somerset, England. For more than fifty years, Mulberry has been a British lifestyle brand, internationally acclaimed for quality and design capturing the Mulberry Spirit.
Sustainability has been part of the Mulberry ethos since the brand's inception, in recognition of our purpose-driven approach, in 2024 we proudly achieved B Corp Certification.
Today, we are a global brand, but our values remain the same; we are committed to improving our impact on people and the planet. If these are values you share, we would love you to join our team.
Following the success of our apprentice training programme which started in 2006, Mulberry is again looking to recruit enthusiastic and committed apprentices. Apprentices will learn and understand the end-to-end process of how leather is produced and the manufacturing processes required to produce our luxury handbags whilst studying with Bridgwater College once a week.
The scheme will provide opportunities to explore the wider business, creating an understanding of how the supply chain is connected to other departments at Mulberry. Apprentices will also develop and refine their practical skills in areas like stitching, inking and cutting, to be able to construct a whole product from beginning to end! Upon successful completion of the 15 month programme, candidates will be awarded an industry recognised Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard as a Leather Craftsperson and will attend a graduation day at our London Head Office.
If you would like to register your interest for this year's scheme, please apply with your CV and we will be in touch when the scheme goes live for interviews. You will need to be available to start from September 2026.
If you have any questions about the scheme, feel free to reach out to the Talent and Development Team via leanring@mulberry.com
