Are you a Yard Marshall, or perhaps looking to step up and have more responsibility? Are you organised and understand the relationships between warehouse and transport? Are you physically fit and looking for a new challenge? We are looking for a Yard Marshall to join our team working on the British Gypsum contract.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Organise and manage yard activities.
  • Ensure that all aspects of the yard operation are conducted safely.
  • Report unsafe acts and conditions to the management team.
  • Take reasonable care for your health and safety and that of others.
  • Be responsible for good housekeeping including sweeping, cleaning of storage areas and gritting when required.
  • Manage XPO contractors in yard areas.
  • Complete safety audits.
  • Complete daily inspections of vehicle/trailer fleet.

What you need to succeed at XPO:

  • Must be flexible in working hours to support business needs.
  • Previous similar experience would be an advantage.
