A leading truck dealership in the UK is seeking an experienced HGV Workshop Controller to join their team in Chesterfield. This role involves supervising the maintenance and repair of commercial vehicles, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and managing technicians. As an HGV Workshop Controller, based in our busy Workshop environment, you will be required to schedule and supervise the maintenance, repair and overhaul of a variety of Commercial Vehicles, as well as standard servicing and diagnostics. Organise service and repair documentation and any/all other maintenance documentation in accordance with Company standards and legal requirements.
Monitor the maintenance of housekeeping across all sections of the Workshop and that it remains compliant with statutory requirements. People management responsibilities; supervision of all technicians including performance and absence management. Monitoring workshop efficiencies, cost control and overall effectiveness of the Workshop.
The HGV Workshop Controller shift pattern: 45 hours per week,Monday to Friday & Saturday morning.
