Job description

Energy4All are looking to recruit someone who can help to drive forward two pioneering renewable energy projects: Westmill Wind Co-operative and Westmill Solar Co-operative (together known as Westmill Energy). As the UK's first community-owned solar farm and the first 100% community-owned onshore wind farm in southern England, the Westmill co-operatives are at the forefront of demonstrating how community ownership can transform our energy future.

As CEO, you'll provide hands‑on leadership across all operations: ensuring sites run efficiently, finances are robust, and stakeholders remain engaged. You'll work closely with dedicated boards of volunteer directors and the team within Energy4All to help raise the profile of both co-operatives locally and nationally.

If you're passionate about community energy and ready to lead organisations that are proving renewables can be owned and operated by the communities they serve, this is your opportunity to make a real difference.

Location: Working from home or a local office space, with regular visits to Westmill Wind Farm and Solar Park, Watchfield, Swindon, SN6 8TH. There will also be periodic meetings in Oxford and travel to other locations as needed.

Hours: Full‑time/flexible, permanent subject to 6‑month probation period

Closing date: Monday 12th January 2026
