Job summary

A regional broadcaster is seeking a multi-skilled journalist for its Welsh Language Programmes team in Cardiff. Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of professional journalistic experience in News or Current Affairs.
• Strong understanding of compliance and broadcast guidelines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced newsroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Work across current affairs output for S4C.
• Research ideas and find contributors for election coverage.
• Support long-term investigations and current affairs programming.

Skills

Fluency in Welsh language (both spoken and written)

Professional journalistic experience in News or Current Affairs

Excellent knowledge of Welsh and UK politics
