Overview

Join to apply for the Warehouse Supervisor role at MINSTER.

Minster is a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, based in Cardiff. This role is for a Warehouse Supervisor who is passionate about great service and ready to join the team at Cardif f, St. Catherine's Trading Park, Pengam Road, Cardiff, CF24 2RZ.

Hours – 7.00am – 5.00pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities
  • Welcome customers to the branch and take an active interest in their projects
  • Manage directly a team of Warehouse Operatives
  • Produce monthly reports
  • Support the Branch Director and Operations Manager
  • Ensure the team are set up for the day, including delivery drivers with route planning
  • Help to process and prepare customer orders — load and unload customer and supplier vehicles using a forklift truck (training provided)
  • Provide direct support to the management team and act as a keyholder when needed
  • Check incoming deliveries and report missing or damaged products
  • Maintain stock levels in both the warehouse and yard areas, carrying out regular stock counts
  • Keep the branch clean and tidy and prioritise Health & Safety
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify opportunities for improvement
