A Waitstaff team member in Healthcare dining is primarily responsible for table service to residents and guests. Perform duties in compliance with established Company policies and procedures and in a professional manner.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Knowledge of and ability to demonstrate effective customer service skills.
• Greet residents warmly and take their food orders.
• Deliver food ordered by resident and guests to the table, and demonstrate a courteous and considerate manner to all guests.
• Clear prior course dishes before serving next course.
• Clear tables at the end of the meal and pre-set table for the next meal service.
• Perform cleaning responsibilities as assigned and ensure that the dining room is maintained in a sanitary and orderly manner.
• Perform any assigned cleaning tasks and/or side jobs.
• Attend scheduled meetings and in‑services.
• Knowledge of food handling and infection control, including HACCP standards.
• Assist with preparation of food items as assigned.
• Adhere to department standards of dress.
• Follow directions and systems as indicated.
• Perform duties in a team environment.
• Safely operate all job‑related food service equipment.
• Perform other duties as required.
