Job Title: VNA Driver – Warehouse Operative – Night Shift

Location: Bedford

Employment Type: Full Time 40 Hour Working Week

Shift: Monday – Friday 21:00 – 06:00

Salary: £30,160 Per Annum Plus an Attendance bonus of £200 per month

Are you an experienced warehouse operative who takes pride in accuracy and efficiency? P W Gates is looking for a VNA Driver to join our hardworking and friendly warehouse team at our Bedford – Wixam’s Site.

Role Overview

As a VNA Driver, you’ll play a crucial part in ensuring that customer orders are picked, processed, and prepared for dispatch with precision and care. Operating a VNA truck, you’ll handle stock movements at height, maintain accurate inventory records, and help keep our warehouse running safely and efficiently. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, is highly organised, and has a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

Include, but are not limited to:

  • Picking and scanning customer orders accurately and efficiently using a VNA or PPT.
  • Operate a VNA safely and in line with company procedures and H&S standards.
  • Put away stock into designated racking locations and maintain tidy, organised aisles.
  • Labelling and prepare pallets for storage or dispatch.
  • Ability to meet daily picking and scanning picking targets in line with company KPI’s while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Occasionally supporting with other warehouse duties should operational needs require such as loading and unloading vehicles or reworking stock.
  • Valid VNA Certificate (required).
  • Previous experience in warehouse order picking or goods-in/out operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • A proactive, team-oriented approach and good communication skills.
  • Ability to work safely and efficiently in a busy warehouse environment.
  • Willingness to be flexible and support other warehouse functions as needed.

It would be an advantage if candidates also have:

  • Counterbalance and PPT Certificates.
  • Recent warehouse experience.
