Job description

We are the UK’s premier outdoor retailer, focused on providing the British Outdoor Enthusiast with the best kit, service, and advice possible. Join our Marketing team as a Visual Content Creator and help bring our story to life through high-quality video and photography.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a passionate, detail-driven Visual Content Creator to join our marketing team and elevate the way we share the Trekitt story with the outdoor community. In this role, you’ll bring our products, our ethos, and the joys of time spent outside to life—using film, photography, and thoughtful visual craft. From concept to final upload, you will be the guiding hand behind our visual identity across all key platforms.

You will collaborate closely with colleagues across E-Commerce, A&P, suppliers, and stakeholders, working in both studio and outdoor environments to produce content that reflects the high standards of Trekitt and the wider Fenix Outdoor family. This role requires technical excellence, creative drive, and a genuine love for being outside—often in challenging terrain.

This position is full-time and based at our UK headquarters. You will work closely with the Marketing Manager and the broader Frilufts/Fenix network.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Plan, produce, and deliver high-quality video and photographic content that reflects Trekitt’s voice, products, and brand values.
  • Lead end-to-end video production—from scouting and setup to lighting, audio, talent coordination, as well as becoming one of the public spokespeople for the business, either in the great outdoors or in a studio environment.
  • Edit and post-produce content for YouTube, social media, email campaigns, and website landing pages, ensuring platform-appropriate optimisation.
  • Manage all visual assets and equipment, including organising/archiving footage and maintaining cameras, audio gear, and production tools.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on photoshoots, social content, email campaigns, and broader creative development across video, imagery, graphics, and written content.
  • Contribute to brand evolution, stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and present insights within Trekitt and the wider Frilufts/Fenix group.
WHO YOU ARE
  • A genuine passion for the outdoors and a solid understanding of Trekitt’s ethos, brands, customers, and community.
  • 3+ years of professional video content creation experience, supported by a strong portfolio and deep skills in film, photography, and visual storytelling—ideally within the outdoor sector.
  • High proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Lightroom, along with a solid understanding of video production equipment, best practices, and motion graphics/VFX tools.
  • Highly organised and diligent, with the ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and production demands.
  • A confident communicator who can clearly convey ideas and collaborate effectively across teams.
  • A collaborative team player with experience working cross-functionally, combined with strong self-motivation and proactive problem-solving both in the field and in the office.
  • Flexibility to travel for shoots and an eagerness to inspire others to embrace nature and the outdoors.
