Your role

Wollaston Motors is excited to announce the opening of our brand-new bodyshop in Northampton, and we are now looking to recruit a skilled Vehicle Paint Technician to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a new, modern facility, working with the latest equipment and processes in a professional and supportive environment.

As a Vehicle Paint Technician, you will be responsible for producing high-quality paint finishes in line with manufacturer and industry standards. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing vehicles and panels for paint, including masking and priming
  • Painting vehicles within spray booths to a high standard
  • Carrying out full resprays, panel painting, and accident repair paintwork
  • Completing colour matching and blending accurately
  • Ensuring all work meets quality, safety, and productivity standards
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Your profile

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Paint Technician
  • ATA accreditation (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A positive attitude and commitment to quality
