A leading UK defense contractor is seeking a Vehicle Mechanic to maintain the operational readiness of vehicles that support the UK’s armed forces. This full-time, permanent role is based at either Donnington or Cottesmore, near Telford. Candidates must have an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance, proven experience in diagnostics and repair, and a commitment to safety. As a Vehicle Mechanic, you’ll be at the heart of our mission ensuring the operational readiness of vehicles that support the UK’s armed forces and emergency services. From quad bikes to battle tanks, your expertise will help maintain, repair, and enhance a wide range of equipment, making a real difference to national security and public safety.
This is a full‑time, permanent role based at either Donnington or Cottesmore. You’ll work 37 hours per week: Monday - Thursday (8 hours/day) and Friday (5 hours), with opportunities for overtime.
Please note that the successful candidate will be required to pass a targeted medical questionnaire and/or medical examination as a condition of employment for this role.
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
