Job summary

A logistics company in Perth is seeking a motivated 3.5t Van Driver to deliver freight and install appliances while maintaining excellent customer service. Responsibilities include loading and unloading, accurate scanning of freight, and ensuring a safe working environment. This role requires a valid driving license, and full training is provided for candidates with no prior experience. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 17:30.

The successful candidate must be motivated, great customer service skills and have an excellent work ethic.**Main roles and responsibilities**· Collecting / delivering freight in a timely and friendly manner.· Collecting / delivering freight within customers homes.· Installing appliances and building of items such as wardrobes, bedframes etc.· Must have good people skills as this is a customer facing role.· Helping with loading / unloading vehicles.· Accurate scanning of freight.· Manual handling.· Using a handheld device for capturing proof of delivery.· Ensuring good housekeeping within the depot and vehicle.· Demonstrating good health and safety practises.*To find out more about M&H Carriers go to www.mhcarriers.co.uk***Advantageous**Previous experience in this role although full training will be provided.Clean driving licence**Required**Valid driving licence**Hours**Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 17:30 .Please note that your employment with M&H Carriers is contingent upon the submission of a basic disclaimer (DBS) within the first three weeks of your start date.
