Join our Team as a UC Engineer!

Location: Field Based (North England or Scotland)

Salary: Competitive

Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00-17:00

About the role:

We’re looking for a skilled UC Engineer to join our Engineering Team at Onecom. You’ll be the go‑to expert for installing and maintaining telecoms equipment and UC solutions. Whether you’re advising customers on the Service Desk, remotely diagnosing faults, or travelling to sites to deliver installations and upgrades, you’ll play a key role in keeping businesses connected. This is a hands‑on role where no two days are the same, and your expertise will directly shape customer satisfaction and service excellence.

Key responsibilities:
  • Install UC systems and associated applications at customer sites across the UK
  • Provide ongoing maintenance and support for UC solutions
  • Undertake site surveys, audits, and system backups
  • Deliver telephone support and remote diagnostics to customers
  • Use supplier portals to raise and escalate support queries through to completion
  • Maintain and update installation documentation and service support tickets
  • Handle technical escalations from Service Desk Engineers and resolve outstanding service issues promptly
  • Complete installation and upgrade projects to the highest standard
  • Carry out any other duties as required by your line manager
