Qualifications
  • Valid Class A CDL required. Applicants must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in their state of residence
  • Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non‑excepted interstate DOT medical card required
  • 1 year of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor‑trailer experience in the last 5 years
  • 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
  • Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines
  • Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
  • In order to be compliant with federal law (49 C.F.R. 391.11(b)(2)), this role requires English language proficiency
  • Work required schedule, work at the specific location, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening
  • This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety‑sensitive by the company, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must accept responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others
Physical Requirements
  • The associate must be able to see and hear, including close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Frequent movement, standing, walking, sitting and use of hands to touch, handle, feel, reach with hands and arms; able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally up to 100 lbs (45 kg)
  • Must be able to legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area
