The Company currently writes lines of business including; specialty insurance: aviation & aerospace, energy, marine, property, terror & political violence, contingency and other specialty lines; reinsurance: property reinsurance, property retrocession, specialty reinsurance, whole account/multi-class and bespoke.

Role Overview

As a consequence of TFP’s rapid growth, there is an opportunity for a Treasury Analyst to assist and support the Treasury manager in meeting all Treasury requirements for TFP. We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Treasury Analyst who will not only support the Treasury manager, but is also willing to support on various TFP’s strategic initiatives.

Role Responsibilities
  • Monitoring of all cash and investment balances;
  • Proposing actions to fund any shortfalls or invest surplus funds;
  • Work with our banking partners to open new accounts where required, to assist in completing periodic KYC requirements and to assist in maintaining banks’ user access rights and mandate;
  • Assist with the management of our interest rate swaps and FX swaps and prepare any accounting journals.
  • Arrange any spot FX trades as required;
  • Prepare commission settlement listings for our client services;
  • Assist with the payment of non-routine balances;
  • Arrange for the collection of interest earned on all fiduciary accounts;
  • Execute and monitor intercompany loans
  • Work with the FP&A team to support cashflow forecasts and monitoring
  • Preparation of the monthly transaction listings file required for internal reporting;
  • Support the external audit of all treasury balances; and
  • Ad-hoc support to any TFP strategic initiatives
Skills & Experience
  • You will likely already work within an existing Treasury function.
  • Alternatively we are willing to consider exceptional and commercial accountants looking to make their move from practise into industry.
  • Knowledge of financial systems and reporting tools; such as AnaPlan, Power BI and Alteryx will be preferable.
  • Exceptional communication, critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Prior experience of project management is considered an advantage.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
