Transformation Lead

Location: Hybrid – HQ in Shoreham-by-Sea
Reports to: Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer

The Opportunity

Focus Group is a £300m-revenue, 1,300-person technology services company backed by Hg Capital. Following our $1bn valuation in 2024, we’re scaling rapidly and executing an ambitious Value Creation Plan (VCP) to strengthen our operating platform, enhance customer experience, and unlock new growth across our integrated IT, data, and communications offerings.

We’re looking for an outstanding Transformation Lead to play a central role in delivering that plan. You’ll lead major transformation initiatives that cut across functions — combining analytical rigour, stakeholder engagement, and strong change leadership to make lasting impact on how Focus Group operates and grows.

This is a long-term strategic role for someone with a consulting or transformation background who wants to move beyond advisory work and take ownership of delivery and outcomes within a single, scaling organisation.

The Role

As Transformation Lead, you will:

  • Lead one or more major VCP initiatives from design through to implementation and measurable value realisation
  • Create and execute change strategies that maximise employee and customer adoption
  • Translate strategic goals into clear delivery roadmaps, milestones, and success measures
  • Partner with senior business leaders and functional heads across operations, technology, and commercial teams to coordinate timelines and remove barriers
  • Ensure programmes are governed effectively, risks managed, and outcomes achieved
  • Track and report benefits realisation to the Transformation Director and the executive leadership team
  • Contribute to developing the wider transformation capability within Focus Group

  • Strategic and commercially minded problem-solver with a track record of turning ideas into delivered outcomes.
  • Blend of consulting discipline and operational delivery – able to move seamlessly between boardroom strategy and frontline execution.
  • Proven ability to drive cross-functional change and adoption, turning plans into measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent commercial acumen, with a sharp understanding of how AI and automation create business value.
  • High emotional intelligence and relationship-building skills – able to engage and influence both senior stakeholders and operational teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; comfortable using data and insight to guide decisions.
Desirable:
  • Experience working in B2B and technology-driven businesses
  • Exposure to private-equity-backed or rapidly scaling organisations
  • Familiarity with AI, automation, or data-led transformation programmes
