Job description

Show Racism the Red Card Wales is pleased to have received funding as part of the Welsh Government's Anti-racist Wales Culture Fund 2025–26 to work with boards and leadership of museums and heritage spaces and producing and non-producing theatres, theatre companies and arts spaces.

This new project will support leaders across arts and heritage to:

  • Build understanding of systemic racism in the arts and heritage sectors
  • Consider their own attitudes, behaviours, norms and values and how this may serve to enforce or disrupt systemic racism within the arts and culture sectors
  • Consider how they can embed anti-racism in their governance and decision making to become more inclusive leaders
  • Ensure all policies/procedures are actively anti-racist
  • Evaluate and improve reporting mechanisms around discrimination
  • Create a tailored Anti-racism Action Plan and implement this with the support of SRtRC
  • Improve recruitment, programming, and reporting processes

Sessions can either be created bespoke to your setting if there is a group interested in taking part, or you are welcome to bring representatives along to set sessions.
