Trainer Assessor – Electrical

Hours: 36.25 hours per week

Salary: £32,943.00 – £43,356.00

Position Overview

Trafford & Stockport College Group (TSCG) invites an experienced Trainer Assessor specialising in Electrical to join the Construction and Building Services Apprenticeship Team. This role supports apprentices in Level 3 Electrical Installation and Maintenance and Domestic Electrician Standards, through workplace coaching, NVQ portfolio delivery, assessments, progress reviews and action planning in partnership with employers.

Responsibilities
  • Support apprentices enrolled onto Level 3 Electrical Installation and Maintenance and Domestic Electrician Standards.
  • Provide workplace coaching and deliver NVQ portfolio sessions.
  • Carry out workplace assessments and conduct progress reviews.
  • Set action plans in conjunction with employers.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification.
  • Work‑based experience within the sector demonstrating occupational competence.
  • Held 18th Edition qualification and a JIB Card; NICEIC Accreditation desirable.
  • Recognised assessment qualification (TAQA, A1, V1 or equivalent) desirable.
  • Understanding of all aspects of workplace assessment and OneFile E‑Portfolio experience.
