Job Title: Trainer

Location: Milton Keynes – Hybrid (2 days a week in the office)

Contract Type: Permanent

In this role you will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality and compliant training to Personal Group’s field sales and customer loyalty teams.

The role plays a key part in the delivery of the Insurance Sales Training Academy and the wider compliance training framework, ensuring all field-based colleagues have the skills, knowledge and behaviors needed to achieve excellent customer outcomes and meet FCA and PRA regulatory standards.

Working closely with the Training Manager, you will deliver structured learning programmes, field-based coaching and continuous improvement initiatives that build capability, confidence and a strong culture of compliance across the business.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging, accurate and compliant training across insurance sales, customer engagement and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the design, delivery and ongoing development of the Insurance Sales Training Academy in line with FCA and PRA standards.
  • Provide field-based coaching and mentoring to reinforce learning, improve performance and maintain compliance.
  • Work closely with Team Managers, Client Operations and Compliance teams to identify capability gaps and deliver targeted training solutions.
  • Deliver onboarding, refresher and ongoing compliance training, both in-person and virtually.
  • Design and maintain high-quality learning materials, assessments and evaluation tools.
  • Assess learner performance, track progress and provide clear feedback and reports to the Training Manager.
  • Maintain accurate training records within the LMS and support QA, compliance reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote a strong culture of continuous learning, compliance and professional excellence.
Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of FCA regulation, Consumer Duty, TCF and compliant insurance sales practices.
  • Experience delivering training, coaching or learning interventions within a regulated sales or customer service environment.
  • Proven ability to deliver engaging training sessions, workshops and field-based coaching to diverse audiences.
  • Understanding of learning design, adult learning principles and training evaluation.
  • Experience interpreting QA, performance and compliance data to identify learning needs and measure impact.
  • Knowledge of data protection, risk management and internal controls within financial services.
  • Confident user of Microsoft Office and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
