Position Overview

We are currently looking for individuals who are either starting out in their careers or potentially considering a career change. If you do not hold a driving licence, this can be a costly process. However, our Doree Bonner Trainee Porter Programme – Nottingham can offer this to you.

Located in Nottingham (NG15 6EP), the programme offers an annual salary of £19,000 – £23,000 (dependent upon age).

Responsibilities

You will start your journey working as part of a customer‑facing team where you will be responsible for packing, loading and unloading household effects into customers’ homes, whilst you complete your porter training programme. Through formal career progression you will work through the ranks with the possibility of progressing onto LGV Driver/Team Leader status.

Entry Requirements & Selection Process

• Right to work in the UK
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths grade C or above
• Be a resident in the UK for at least three years
• Have a good level of fitness to carry out removal work
• Be able to speak excellent English

Please note you will be asked to complete a DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) check on successful selection.
