Job Title: Tissue Viability Nurse

Contract: Permanent – 37.5 hours per week

Location: Nationwide and some WFH

Salary: £55,000 plus company car as benefit in kind

Working closely with clinical teams across the UK, you will promote strategies to improve tissue viability within our care homes.

How You'll Help Us Make Health Happen
  • Lead clinical excellence in tissue viability by providing expert guidance on advanced wound therapies and supporting clinicians in creating effective care plans.
  • Drive quality improvement through monitoring incidents, identifying trends, and leading initiatives to reduce pressure ulcers and improve skin integrity outcomes.
  • Champion education and best practice by promoting evidence‑based care, delivering targeted training, and building networks of tissue viability specialists across the business.
  • Collaborate and innovate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance equipment usage, implement policies, and develop nurse‑led clinics for complex wound management.
Key Skills / Qualifications Needed For This Role
  • Active NMC Registration
  • Minimum 1 year previous experience in a Tissue Viability environment
  • Teaching/training experience
  • Digital system and Excel capability
  • Experience in advanced therapies in wound management including compression bandaging and negative‑pressure wound therapy
  • Knowledge of current advances in wound care and pressure ulcer management
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
