Job description
Overview

Waylands Automotive are currently looking for a Temporary Service Advisor to provide maternity cover at our Kia franchise in Reading on a fixed-term contract.

Waylands is a successful and growing motor retail group, with 15 representation points across the Thames Valley and the M4 corridor, extending into South Wales.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the liaison between customers and service technicians and be the face of the business when customers come in for service and repair.
  • Greet customers, listen to requests, schedule appointments, estimate costs and conduct inspections.
  • Work with customers to understand their vehicle issues and problems, determine the repair timeline, and liaise with technicians to convey the customers' concerns with accurate repair descriptions.
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers to encourage repeat and return business.
  • Schedule and book appointments, vehicle drop-offs, and pick-ups using in-hours and manufacturer systems and processes.
  • Keep customers updated about the status of their vehicle through the workshop and communicate with technicians to ensure on-time delivery.

Salary, Hours and Benefits
  • 8:30am-18:00pm Mon-Fri, Saturday 8:00am-13:00pm on a rota basis (1 in 4).
  • Basic salary of £30k plus department bonus scheme.
