Join Citi’s Summer Technology Analyst Program, where forward‑thinking talent meets unparalleled opportunities to innovate, influence, and make an impact in the world’s largest financial institution.

The program begins in June and includes an in‑depth education on the Analyst role’s fundamentals, on‑desk training, speaker series, and networking opportunities. Summer Analysts often return to Citi to become Full‑Time Analysts and continue their technology careers.

Your time here will look something like this:

You will work in an agile software development environment, developing quality and scalable software solutions using leading‑edge technologies. Based on business requirements, you will develop code consistent with quality standards, support during testing cycles, and post‑production deployment. You will use tools to test and debug code and participate in peer code reviews. Your cohort will also receive training on Citi’s tools and processes.

  • Microservices Developer: Java, Spring Framework, Pivotal Cloud Foundry
  • iOS: Swift, Xcode, MVC Architecture
  • Android: Java, Android Studio, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, Java Web Services
  • Generative AI tools: GitHub, Co‑Pilot, automated code reviews
  • Web: Angular, Eclipse, Java, JSP, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX

Other exposure may include:

  • Data Analytics tools such as Splunk, Tableau, and Adobe Analytics
  • Cloud adoption with diverse cloud providers such as AWS
  • Engineering Excellence practices (minimum development and operational standards)
  • Software architecture patterns (Microservices, APIs, Spring Core/MVC/Boot/Cloud, REST)
  • CI/CD tools (JIRA, Zephyr, BitBucket, TeamCity, uDeploy, Artifactory, Openshift)
  • Event streaming/messaging systems (Kafka, Solace, Aeron)
  • Containers (Docker, Kubernetes)
