Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Technologist to join our busy flagship studio in London. This role offers the chance to develop your career in a structured and supportive environment, working on high-profile aviation projects. We are seeking a talented, enthusiastic, and ambitious individual who thrives in a team setting and possesses excellent communication skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with the Project Lead to assess and advise on environmental, legal, and regulatory considerations.
  • Contribute to planning applications and other regulatory submissions.
  • Identify and oversee necessary surveys (e.g., land surveys) before project commencement, ensuring results inform the design process.
  • Prepare and present design proposals using primarily Revit, along with traditional drawing techniques, under the guidance of the Project Lead.
  • Advise clients on selecting the best and most suitable contracts for their projects.
  • Develop, analyse, and provide insights on detailed specifications for materials and processes.
  • Assess the performance of buildings in use and compile maintenance management information.
  • Provide expertise on refurbishment, re-use, recycling, and deconstruction strategies.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • ARB-registered Architect with post-Part III experience or a qualified Technologist with proven technical design expertise.
  • Strong commitment to producing high-quality technical information with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to present and communicate technical design concepts effectively.
  • Knowledge of the Adobe suite including InDesign and experience in writing specifications is advantageous.
  • Technical experience in multiple sectors is preferred, with a strong focus on aviation-related projects.
