We’re looking for a talented Project Manager to join our Labs (Innovation team), who will help to accelerate growth by helping us to make best use of our position within the Octopus Energy group and our ability to market our products to over 7 million Octopus Energy Customers.

Octopus Electric Vehicles is growing fast, and you’ll play a key part in helping the business scale by creating an internal platform that allows us to get the right product in front of the right customer at the right time. This is a great opportunity to use critical thinking in a fast-paced environment.

A Project Manager should be willing to get stuck in - you will not only be leading projects, but building the tools and interventions to support them and driving them through to implementation.

What you’ll do...

• Help us create an internal platform that allows us to get the right product in front of the right customer at the right time, across all of Octopus’s owned platforms (App, Website, Email, Social etc)
• Be the person that helps us turn that vision into a reality by coordinating the work of the key functional teams and specialists across marketing, data, product, technology
• Facilitate communication across cross-functional teams to drive delivery of projects to deadlines; you would need to be ready to manage upwards and be confident working with senior stakeholders
• Synthesise information gathered during discovery sessions and establish the path forward, bringing your stakeholders on the journey with you
• Partner and collaborate with a variety of different departments to assist them in implementing the new platform
• Be data driven to validate a business problem, build a basic dashboard where required and measure success of initiatives

What you’ll need...

• Significant experience of leading technology projects, maybe from a large consumer facing technology company
• A critical thinking mindset
• Comfortable with numbers and data
• Excellent communication and experience in leading and influencing stakeholders at various levels
• Excellent project management skills with deep experience to be able to present program status, recommendations, and priorities
• Experience in using various tools and methodologies to formulate an understanding of deliverables and timelines
• To be an extreme starter-finisher - you love a plan and love driving that plan forward.
• Delivery is your bread and butter
• You’ll enjoy speed - the faster the pace, the more energy you get.
• To be at ease working across multiple disciplines

Any of the following would be a bonus

• Knowledge of marketing platforms e.g. Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager
• Adaptability and flexibility when it comes to changes in a rapidly scaling business
