Position Details

Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Agency: Rotherwood Education
Location: Burnley, Lancashire
Salary/Rate: £13.33 – £15/hour

Contract type: Part‑time, Monday & Tuesday 8:45‑1:15pm
Start date: ASAP

Candidate Profile

• Have a proven track record of a similar background.
• Experience supporting students with SEND (Special Educational Needs) on a 1:1 basis.
• Excellent, inspirational Teaching Assistant with strong behaviour management.
• Passion for pupil development.
• Possess a current DBS check or be prepared to apply for one as part of your registration.
• Committed to safeguarding children and young people.
• Willing to complete a face‑to‑face registration and satisfy several checks.
• Provide relevant references.
