We have a great opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Five Wells, working asa Warehousing Teacher. This position is offered on a permanent, full-time basis, working 37hrs per week.

HMP Five Wells is a Category C prison that is based in Wellingborough. Built in 2022, and costing £253m, this state‑of‑the‑art prison accommodates a male prison population. HMP Five Wells are committed to celebrating diversity and promoting equality throughout their services. Skills, Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

• Deliver Warehousing training, in line with course requirements
• Have industry experience or a qualification relevant to operational logistics within Warehousing (Desirable)
• Achieve performance and quality targets
• Produce accurate and timely reporting
• Demonstrate positive team working
• Have experience of conducting assessments and supporting learning of individuals and groups
• Have experience of working with groups of learners with a range of abilities.
• Have experience of successful working in an effective multi‑disciplinary team
• Have experience creating stimulating, vibrant environments which are conducive to learning and motivational for learners
• A good track record achieving of quality targets
• Hold a teaching qualification and, where applicable, a relevant subject specialist qualification – with a commitment to obtain the outstanding qualification within 12 months
• Hold at least a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
