Job Overview

We are looking for enthusiastic teachers who are committed to excellence and ready to work in a dynamic part of Scotland to deliver quality education to assigned pupils and contribute, within a collegiate ethos, to the professional life of the school in relation to pupils, staff and external bodies as per the agreements of the Local Negotiating Committee for Teachers and the Scottish Negotiating Committee for Teachers.

Fixed Term for a period not exceeding 04 January 2027.

The post holder is responsible for demonstrating a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.

Requirements

• Regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007: the preferred candidate must join the PVG Scheme or undergo an update check. If you have spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required.
• Salary will be in accordance with SNCT agreements.
• Applicants must be or be eligible to be fully GTC Scotland registered. If you qualified as a teacher outside Scotland, please visit GTCS - Qualified Outside Scotland and review the GTCS FAQs for information on obtaining registration with the General Teaching Council Scotland.
• Minimum of one reference is required, which must be from your current or most recent employer.
