Salary: Teachers Main Scale 1 - 6 (£32,916- £45,352)

Start Date: Easter 2026 or earlier if possible

Location: Bishop Lonsdale C of E Primary School and Nursery, St Albans Road, Derby DE22 3HH (Part of a Multi Academy Trust, Derby Diocesan Multi Academy Trust ‘DDAT’)

Job outline

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Governors to appoint a teacher to join our friendly, hardworking school on either a permanent basis or on a temporary basis until the end of the academic year. We are looking for a caring, skilled and hardworking practitioner who is able to work in Key Stage 1. We are looking for someone who:

  • aims high for all children, regardless of their background or starting points;
  • is able to provide effective and engaging learning and an inclusive classroom;
  • is a team player and will effectively work alongside other staff and professionals;
  • is willing to go the ‘extra mile’ to build positive relationships with parents and children;
  • is able to work as part of the whole school team.
