Qualifications

• Required to have a STA Award/Certificate or SEQ Level 2.
• Ability to instruct, coach and teach designated activities.
• Experience working with various age groups and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and carry out swimming lessons to increase customer skill and confidence.
• Provide feedback to customers to improve their swimming skills.
• Ensure safety in the water and build customer confidence.

Skills

Experience of instruction groups of mixed age and abilities

Knowledge of the National Plan for Swimming Teaching

Good oral communication and interaction skills
