Surgical Account Manager - North East, Yorkshire & East Midlands

Convatec is a global medical products and technologies company focused on advanced wound care, ostomy care, continence care, and infusion care. We are seeking a technical sales professional for our North East, Yorkshire & East Midlands territory to drive the growth of NPWT and surgical dressing solutions.

About the Role
  • Achieve agreed objectives and sales targets within the defined territory.
  • Interact and promote products to key customers and stakeholders in secondary care.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive business plans focusing on high‑value opportunities and new business.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with the Company and the customer to maximise growth.
  • Champion the NPWT and Surgical portfolio with all stakeholders.
  • Support and train theatre teams in the safe and effective use of products.
  • Run training sessions and clinical meetings to optimise best practice in surgical wound management.
  • Maintain relevant accreditation and credentialing for each Trust.
  • Provide in‑depth clinical positioning and product knowledge for key indication areas, especially closed‑incision wound management.
About You
  • Proven track record within a surgical sales market, ideally orthopaedics, minimum 3 years with demonstrable success.
  • Clinical and technical sales background within an acute setting, preferably surgical/NPWT environment.
  • Experience influencing key decision‑makers and building relationships with consultant surgeons and clinicians.
  • Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong account planning and prioritisation skills, able to manage multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of NHS developments, health reforms, operating plans, and targets.
  • Experience working with specialist and culturally diverse teams.
  • Hunter mentality with an entrepreneurial focus and drive.
  • Competence with IT tools including Windows, spreadsheets, PowerPoint, and CRM.
  • English language mother tongue or high proficiency written and spoken.
  • Resides within the territory.
