A leading care organization in Wyboston seeks a Support Worker to assist individuals with Autism. Your responsibilities will include daily support, promoting independence, and teaching life skills. About Wyboston Lodge
Wyboston Lodge supports seven people with Autism, we help to enable the people we support to structure their time; build relationships and establish a balance between activities, self-care, work and leisure, as appropriate to their individual needs. We support by working with and not for and we use our experience to help people on their journey towards greater independence and a fulfilling life.
Our staff support each person to create a person-centred plan that tells us how they want to live their life now and in the future. Through a range of communication tools, we ensure that each person is closely involved in the development of their own plan. Each person discusses their likes, interests, goals and aspirations with their Key Worker.
Wyboston Lodge is located in a quiet village of Wyboston in Bedfordshire. This extensive refurbished property has five spacious en-suite bedrooms and 2 studio apartments. Communal areas consist of a lounge, dining room, kitchen, bathroom and large garden.
As a Support Worker, you will be involved in the day to day support and routine of the people within the service including:
