Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role:

A brand new, purpose built Extra Care Scheme consisting of 50 Self‑Contained apartments – 40 of which are one‑bedroomed, 5 are two‑bedroomed, and 5 are adapted single person occupancy.

Based in Ash Brow, HD2.

The service has its own Café and garden spaces for the people we support to engage socially together and get some quiet outside their homes. The service has a large driveway to reach the main entrance with parking on site for staff, residents and visitors. Staff are on site 24 hours to provide support where needed and in emergency situations.

What is important to us
  • We will want people who support us to be as independent as possible within our homes and promote social inclusion.
  • We will want people who can get to know us and have similar interests to get us more involved within our local and wider community.
This will involve all aspects of Care/Support to include:
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Positioning
  • Assistance with Medication/Meals etc.
  • Dementia Care
  • Emergency First Aid

Shift patterns as follows:
Morning – 6:30am to 2:00pm
Afternoon – 2:00pm to 10:00pm
Nights – 10:00pm to 8:00am
